A green paradise:

The Leechwald is located in three districts: Mariatrost has the lion’s share of it; the other two are Ries and Geidorf. But irrespective of which district you are currently in: the Leechwald is beautiful anywhere.

And what’s more: it offers a host of attractions. You can explore the beautiful sights of this municipal forest in a sporty way whilst running or in a leisurely manner whilst out walking, you can conquer the trees in the climbing park, admire the imposing Hilmwarte or find out interesting facts about the nature of this remarkable forest on the forest educational trail.

The Leechwald is ideally accessible with Line 1. You can get off at Hilmteich or select one of the other stations between Hilmteich and Mariatrost as a starting point!
