The Rosenhain is located on one of the most beautiful and tranquil places in Graz with a wonderful view of the city. Irrespective of whether it is for children, pupils, students or pensioners – the Rosenhain is a place to escape everyday life for a bit, also thanks to its perfect location (only around 10 minutes on foot away from the main building of Graz Karl Franzens University).
At the Rosenhain itself, in addition to the breathtaking setting, you also find the USI, the sports centre of Graz University, a nursing home, a kindergarten and an after-school care centre.
A visit to the playground on the Rosenhain can be wonderfully combined with a walk through a beautiful beach forest and getting some refreshment in the Café Rosenhain afterwards (or before). Here, the generations sit at tables whilst the youngest are probably playing outside on the playground.
