Buses run across Jakominiplatz again
The track construction and road works have been completed so that
on Friday, 24 November 2023, from approx. 10.00 a.m.
Radetzkystraße can be reopened for bus services. This trial run on 24 November 2023 is necessary in order to dismantle all the measures that were installed in the course of the diversions.
Jakominiplatz bus stops back in operation
From this date, bus routes 30, 31, 31E, 32, 33, 34, 34E, 39, 40 and 67E will return to the usual bus stops on Jakominiplatz. The Wielandgasse stop in the out-of-town direction will also be served again.
Replacement stops
The three replacement stops at Opernring/BIPA and Opernring/Operncafe and those in Franz-Graf-Allee will then be closed.
The replacement stop at Wielandgasse West will continue to be served until midnight on Friday, 24 November 2023.
Line 30 existing diversion on 24 November 2023 until 9 pm
From the Griesplatz/Zweiglgasse/tim stop, buses will travel via Griesplatz – Zweiglgasse – Augartenbrücke – Roseggerkai – Josef-Pongratz-Platz – Friedrichgasse – Grazbachgasse – Schönaugasse – Jakominiplatz to the Jakominiplatz stop and continue as before to Geidorf.
Bus stop operation:
The Österreichische Gesundheitskasse and Wielandgasse stops will be replaced in Friedrichgasse shortly after the junction with Zimmerplatzgasse.
The original stop at Jakominiplatz (platform G) will be served.
Lines 34 and 34E in the direction of Jakominiplatz existing diversion on 24/11/2023 until midnight
From the Grazbachgasse stop, buses will travel via Pestalozzistraße – Zimmerplatzgasse – Josef-Pongratz-Platz – Roseggerkai – Radetzkystraße – Jakominiplatz to the final stop Jakominiplatz.
Stop operation:
The Österreichische Gesundheitskasse stop (platform A) is also served.
The Wielandgasse Süd stop will be relocated to the Wielandgasse stop in the direction of Jakominiplatz.
From Saturday, 25 November 2023, from 4.30 am, lines 34 and 34 E will once again run via upper Pestalozzistraße to Radetzkystraße and serve the Wielandgasse Süd stop in the direction of Jakominiplatz.
Nightline
From 00:00 on Saturday, 25 November 2023, the usual stops of the Nightlines N3, N4, N5 Süd, N6 and N8 at Jakominiplatz will be served again.
The stop relocations and diversions via Grazbachgasse are no longer necessary.
Line 23
Line 23 will run on the Radetzkyspitz loop again from Saturday, 25 November 2023. The diversion to Remise Steyrergasse will be cancelled.
Possible replacement services for the tram
Any replacement services for the tram will depart from Jakominiplatz again.
