Together with MeinBezirk, Holding Graz was on the lookout for Graz “city ambassadors” last year. Five local influencers will accompany the municipal service provider on their channels for a year and take a look behind the scenes. We present them exclusively.

In order to make its diverse offers, products and services even more visible, especially for younger target groups, Holding Graz and MeinBezirk joined forces for the second time to look for creative minds from the world of social media in Graz. After an intensive application and selection process, one thing is certain: five Graz influencers will provide their followers with exclusive insights into the products, offers and services of Holding Graz in 2025. The posts will appear both on the influencers’ channels and on Holding Graz’s digital platforms.

Mayor Elke Kahr emphasizes: “Young people in particular are increasingly informing themselves via social media these days. By presenting the great work of the employees of Holding Graz through “digital city ambassadors”, we are reaching young people exactly where they want to exchange ideas and get information.”

Richard Peer, Head of Marketing at Holding Graz, on the role of Graz influencers: “Our communication strategy is based on a balance between digital and traditional media in order to reach and inform all Graz residents comprehensively. In collaboration with local influencers, we appeal to younger Graz residents in particular and can present the products and services of Holding Graz in a targeted manner.”

These are the five Graz influencers for Holding Graz 2025:

Sebastian Zier – Mobility & Leisure

  • Graz influencer Sebastian Zier provides information on his channel about public transport and the “GrazMobil” public transport app, the “tim” car sharing service and the local recreational areas of Graz. He also provides informative insights into planned construction sites and rail replacement services as well as the city’s swimming pools and leisure facilities on the Schloßberg and Schöckl.

Katharina Lierzer – Infrastructure & Energy

  • Clean drinking water, wastewater treatment, waste disposal or the maintenance of Graz’s green spaces: Katharina Lierzer gives her followers a detailed insight into all areas of the city’s infrastructure and makes Holding Graz’s products and services more comprehensible and easier to understand for residents.

Cornelia Morgen – Holding Graz Apps

  • The Holding Graz apps are free and offer a wide range of services. Cornelia Morgen is a Graz influencer and this year provides information about the extensive range of Holding Graz apps for Graz residents: GrazMobil, Schau auf Graz, Graz Abfall, Graz Wasser and tim Österreich.

Shany Fraissler – city center, shopping and GrazGutschein

  • Shany Fraissler from Graz presents on her channel the wide range of offers and services in the areas of retail, gastronomy, hotels and services as well as the GrazGutschein, which is distributed by Holding Graz and can already be redeemed in around 1,000 businesses.

Katharina Paar – Running events and activities for Graz residents

  • Graz-based influencer Katharina Paar reports on sporting events sponsored by Holding Graz. She draws attention to campaigns (e.g. as part of the Holding benefits club “MeinBonus”) and in particular to the Holding Graz products that are presented as part of the runs.
