Holding relies on digital city ambassadors

Together with MeinBezirk, Holding Graz was on the lookout for Graz “city ambassadors” last year. Five local influencers will accompany the municipal service provider on their channels for a year and take a look behind the scenes. We present them exclusively.
In order to make its diverse offers, products and services even more visible, especially for younger target groups, Holding Graz and MeinBezirk joined forces for the second time to look for creative minds from the world of social media in Graz. After an intensive application and selection process, one thing is certain: five Graz influencers will provide their followers with exclusive insights into the products, offers and services of Holding Graz in 2025. The posts will appear both on the influencers’ channels and on Holding Graz’s digital platforms.
Mayor Elke Kahr emphasizes: “Young people in particular are increasingly informing themselves via social media these days. By presenting the great work of the employees of Holding Graz through “digital city ambassadors”, we are reaching young people exactly where they want to exchange ideas and get information.”
Richard Peer, Head of Marketing at Holding Graz, on the role of Graz influencers: “Our communication strategy is based on a balance between digital and traditional media in order to reach and inform all Graz residents comprehensively. In collaboration with local influencers, we appeal to younger Graz residents in particular and can present the products and services of Holding Graz in a targeted manner.”
