In order to offer travellers at Graz Airport even more comfort, a new car park with 133 additional parking spaces has been built on the site of the former catering building. Four parking spaces are reserved for people with physical disabilities. Four e-charging columns with eight AC charging points that comply with calibration law, which were created in cooperation with MOON POWER GmbH, are available to airport guests in the new P5 car park.

The QR code shown on the display of the charging points can be used to pay with a conventional credit card, regardless of the charging card provider. Billing at the new charging stations is based on kWh. In addition, the existing charging stations in car park P1 have been transferred to MOON POWER support.

Simply book in advance and save money

From 1 January 2025, parking spaces at Graz Airport can also be booked via the APCOA Flow app. This way, the desired parking space is secured and payment is made automatically via the app. Thanks to licence plate recognition, the barrier opens automatically on entry and exit, eliminating the need to go to the APCOA ticket machine or counter – a practical time saver. A major additional PLUS: parking with the app is cheaper than paying on site!

‘The new P5 car park was built on the site of the former catering building and is therefore in the immediate vicinity of departures, which makes it attractive for anyone in a hurry, especially in combination with the use of the APCOA app,’ says Jürgen Löschnig, Managing Director of Graz Airport. ‘The new charging stations can also be easily used by passengers, as only the charging quantity is charged, not the charging time.’
