The employees of Holding Graz are also there for you over the public holidays! Here you will find all information about the availability of our services, opening hours, etc.
Graz Linien:
From 30 November 2024 to 22 December 2024:
We are increasing our services in the run-up to Christmas with the ‘Shopping Takt’: Between Saturday, 30 November and Saturday, 21 December 2024, we will be deploying more vehicles on some tram and bus routes in response to the increased traffic volume.
Additional buses will run on bus routes 31, 39, 41 and 67 on weekdays to stabilise intervals.
Four free rides: on the four Advent Saturdays of 30 November, 7, 14 and 21 December:
On all Advent Saturdays (30 November, 7, 14 and 21 December), free travel applies on all municipal lines with one and two-digit line numbers in Graz within zone 101 as well as on the Schloßbergbahn; the Nightline and the Schloßberg lifts are excluded.
On the Advent Saturdays, we run a partially condensed service until 6.30 pm and operate a 6-minute interval on line 7 from 10.00 am to approx. 6.30 pm so that our customers can get home safely and stress-free after their shopping spree.
P+R offer on the four Advent Saturdays:
In the P+R facilities at Murpark, in Fölling and in Brauquartier, the special rate of € 6.50 applies on the Advent Saturdays for the 24-hour P+R parking ticket.
Sunday, 8 December (Advent Sunday timetable on public holidays):
On 8 December (Sunday/holiday) we run the Sunday/holiday timetable, as the shops are closed this time.
Holiday timetable from 23 December:
From 23 December 2024 up to and including 6 January 2025, the holiday timetable applies.
24 December 2024 and Christmas holidays:
On 24 December, which falls on a Tuesday this year, we will operate according to the Saturday holiday timetable as usual. On 24 December, the last trams and buses will depart from Jakominiplatz (with connections to the outer lines) at 6 pm.
There are no night buses on the nights of 24/25 and 25/26 December!
Mobility and Sales Centre and ServiceCentre of the Verbund Line:
The Mobility and Sales Centre of Graz Linien and the ServiceCenter of Verbund Linie, at Jakoministraße 1, are closed on 24 and 31 December.
Passenger service in the Rondeau at Jakominiplatz:
This personal service is also closed on 24 and 31 December.

The water fault clearance service of Graz Wasserwirtschaft will help you with all faults in the Holding Graz pipe network and in connection pipes up to the water meter.
In the event of water damage in the house (between the water meter and the tap), please contact your property management company or a trusted installation company.
Sewer blockage hotline, Tel.: 0316 887-7272
If your house sewer is blocked, it should be cleaned as quickly as possible.
As a property owner, you can request flushing vehicles from Graz Water Management to clear the blockage around the clock for a fee.

Closed on Sundays and public holidays, also on 24.12. and 31.12.

Where to put the Christmas tree?
If you are tired of your Christmas tree, you can dispose of it from 25 December 2024 to 26 January 2025 at one of over 70 Christmas tree collection points throughout the city of Graz (see PDF here). ATTENTION: Please remove all tinsel and other decorations from the tree beforehand!
