FETTY for fat & oil
The FETTY is used to collect old cooking fats and oils and is provided by the city of Graz.
This is our FETTY:
- The FETTYS can be emptied within the framework of the collection of hazardous substances in Resource Park Graz in Sturzgasse or at mobile hazardous substance collection points.
- You can get your FETTY free of charge in Resource Park Graz.
- Filled FETTYs will be replaced free of charge.
What is collected?
Animal-based and vegetable-based old cooking fats and oils from private households such as:
- Clarified butter
- Lard
- Oils from preserved foods (tuna, sardines, olives,…)
- Deep-frying oils
- Seed oil, etc.
What may not be placed in the FETTYs?
- Marinades,
- Mayonnaise,
- Salad dressing,
- Mineral oils
What happens to them?
Old cooking fats and oils are used as valuable resources for the production of biodiesel, soap products, cleaning agents and chainsaw oils.
